Dr. Vivi Monroe Congress is a "witty, engaging, humorous" and uncompromising wordsmith, whose vision is to see people delivered from personal bondage, renewed and strengthened to lead fulfilled and enjoyable lives. Because of her passion for her calling along with God's favor, her writing is often dubbed Anointed and Inspirational.

This published author, speaker, voice-over talent and former print model is the founder of The Grand Prairie African American AUTHOR SHOWCASE, an annual Black History Month event celebrating the contributions of African American authors to the world of literature. In Fall of 2006 she joined a lineup of best-selling Christian authors, embarking on a first-ever Christian ensemble national book signing tour known as the Anointed Authors on Tour, which met with tremendous success, spreading the Gospel through writing.

Dr. Congress, a self-proclaimed "Literary Servant," is the award-winning author of The Bankrupt Spirit: Principles for Turning Setbacks into Comebacks, The McMillon Family Cookbook: Something to Shout About! and the 2007 bestseller, Manna for Mamma: Wisdom for Women in the Wilderness. She holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Christian Counseling and is currently working to complete course requirements as a Certified Christian Life Coach.

Her professional memberships include: American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), Around2It Writer's Group, Christian Small Publishers, Cookbook Marketing Group, Home School Network, Spirit-LedWriter, The Christian Writer's View and United Black Writers.
